TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER
Full-time, experienced Transportation Engineer position with benefits. Candidate must possess a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 5+ years experience along with an active P.E. license in the State of Illinois. The position requires the following responsibilities:
• Review, Planning, Preparation and Design experience for Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, Roadway Geometrics, Roadway Improvements and Utility Improvements.
• Preparation and Evaluation of Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), Intersection Design Studies (IDS), and Capacity Analysis.
• Preparation of Engineering plans, Specifications, Estimates, Project Schedules, and Change Orders for Public Roadway and Utility Improvements Projects.
• Design and Review of Pavement Designs.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills required.
• Experience and knowledge of Microstation, GeoPak and Signal 2000.
• Phase III experience a must.
